was designed to bring visitors a joyful experience behind every digital door that leads to each new section of the site.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to partner with multi-disciplinary, independently owned design studio

to bring this vision to life. Leading the project was Pentagram’s sound and experiential design visionary

, who we previously collaborated with on the

back in 2016 for that year’s Moogfest.

With a passion for Moog synthesizers and the brand's legacy, Yuri was the perfect partner to celebrate the Model D's cultural impact. He and the hardworking teams at Pentagram and Counterpoint helped create an experience that allows visitors all over the world to discover the deep history and sound of the Moog world.

“Working on this web project for the past two years has been an incredible journey, as Moog has always been my top fascination. Their synthesizers' special sound and beautiful design hold a special place in my heart. I still vividly remember our first discussion years ago where we envisioned a web experience that celebrates the Minimoog Model D. Our goal was to craft a tightly interactive and fun experience that would capture the essence of Dr. Bob Moog and his team’s groundbreaking innovation.

Throughout the project, the collaboration has been tight-knit and extremely enjoyable. We have exchanged numerous ideas on how to make the introduction of this beautiful innovation both fun and captivating. I am grateful to everyone involved in this project for their hard work and dedication.

I invite you to visit the website and immerse yourself in the discovery of the Minimoog Model D—a true testament to the innovation and creativity of its creators.”

No one in Pink Floyd is particularly thrilled when they tromp up the stairs to Abbey Road again in January 1975 after spending nearly a year and a half promoting “Dark Side of the Moon.”

“We were all having to assess what we were in this business for.” guitarist David Gilmour said during the documentary ‘Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here.’ “Having achieved the sort of success and money…that could fulfill anyone’s wildest teenage dreams, why we would still want to continue to do it.”

Baked into this disillusionment is one of the songs the band have been working up on the road – an homage from bassist Roger Waters to original member Syd Barrett called “Wish You Were Here.” The track would not only occupy most of the first side of the album, but it’s melancholy vibe seemed to permeate the rest of the record. All of which is helped along by the arrival of keyboardist Rick Wright’s latest acquisition – a Minimoog.

It’s unclear when Wright took possession of his new synth, but it’s appearance onstage in early 1973 for performances of “Any Colour You Like” suggests it may have been around the time when the sessions for Dark Side wrapped up in February of that year. But two minutes before anything resembling a guitar makes an appearance, the track is held aloft by an extended, somber horn passage that Wright created with the Model D.

The song, which would become one of their most loved, not only reflected the band’s sullen response to the music industry, but also managed to render the haunting feeling of absence that a piece about a lost comrade was meant to project.
